Why pickleball is good for you

A game for every body, at every age.

  • Aerobic exercise

Move around the court at whatever intensity suits you.

  • Easier on the joints

Gentler than tennis, while still improving balance, coordination and agility.

  • Heart health

Regular play keeps the heart stronger and healthier.

  • Weight management

A game burns roughly 350–475 calories — right alongside tennis.

  • Stronger bones

Active play helps keep bones strong — important for adults over 50, who face a higher risk of osteoporosis.

  • Flexibility + strength

Whole-body movement keeps joints flexible and muscles strong.

  • Blood sugar

Regular exercise helps the body use insulin, which can help prevent and manage diabetes.

  • Mental health

It's fun and social — a great way to relieve stress and clear your mind.

Having a form of exercise you find entertaining is key to making it a regular part of your schedule. Join me as an individual or bring some friends for a group session!
